We hope that you all have a wonderful Burns Supper tonight of Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. In celebration of the Bard, please see connections that Greenock has with the great man himself.
The 2015 cruise season in Scotland is coming to an end and this has been a fantastic year at Clyde Coast Tours. We have enjoyed showing all our guests around our beautiful country. The stories and the laughter is why we do this job and look forward to continuing this for many seasons to come.

Written by Catriona StevensonA Bumper Year.....over 100000 cruise visitors expected to grace Greenock Port
It may be cold outside in Greenock but the heat is certainly on for the local cruise terminal with a bumper year of cruise visits planned this year. The town is expecting to welcome over 100000 people which is a welcome increase to the area’s tourism profile.
We are delighted to announce an amazing Winter Special saving of £100 per person for our Wallace Day Tour.
The Ryder Cup, A bumper year for Scotland and sport
Written by Catriona StevensonThere has really been a buzz this year with the Homecoming 2014, Commonwealth Games and now the Ryder Cup. Millions of people have visited Scotland and we are hopeful that the after effects will be felt for the next few years to come.
The cruise season to Scotland is nearly over but what a season it has been. We have been very busy with tours from ships such as the Ruby Princess, the MSC Macnifica, Mein Schiff, Queen Victoria, Celebrity Infinity and many more. It has been our busiest season yet and we would like to thank all the wonderful people who have joined us this year. I can honestly say that you have all been absolutely fabulous and I am so lucky to be doing this for a living, and all of your make it that bit more special for me.
We have experienced another great cruising week with the MSC Magnifica, the Queen Victoria, Le Boreal and the Ruby Princess docked in Greenock. We decided on touring Glasgow this week and we have just started offering a new service called the Glasgow Bus which is a return pick up and drop off service between Greenock Ocean Terminal and Glasgow City Centre. For £20 per person return, it is proving a viable alternative to the train and taxi services.
The season has well and truly begun with 4 ships having already visited Greenock. So we at Clyde Coast Tourism have been very busy entertaining passengers from all over the world; Wednesday - Mein Schiff, Friday - Ruby Princess and Monday - Celebrity Infinity.
Exciting times are approaching as we start conducting our first walking tours in the Clyde Coast area on the 15th May 2013. These tours have been a long time coming and you will not be disappointed with the fantastic history and landscapes, the area has to offer.
