Why Choose our Tours of Scotland.

Scotland is not only a holiday destination but it is also a pilgrimage for many holidaymakers across the globe. The scenery, history, people and culture draw crowds from near and far to witness some of the magic which has inspired so many.

Scotland has fantastic attractions that make for sightseeing gold dust. The metropolitan cities of the likes of Edinburgh and Glasgow not only have their own unique architecture but fantastic historical significance which in some way have influenced much of the modern world. Our city tours take you through the sights and you will finish the tour feeling like you are one of the locals.

When you think of Scotland, 9 out of 10 times, the image of rugged hills, heather and picturesque lochs come to mind. We ensure that you experience the best of the Scottish countryside with a few hidden gems along the way. We usually include a tasty Scottish meal on our scenic tours in a traditional tavern, some of which ooze history from hundreds of years ago.

If you enjoy seeing the sights whilst getting the blood pumping, we provide walking and cycling tours. We have a variety of city and scenic walking tours which are designed to give enough photo opportunities as well as a lesson in the each area’s individual history.

Our Historical and Genealogical tours take you back in time to the days of William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, the Jacobites and Rabbie Burns among others. More importantly if you have Scottish lineage, we can help you trace your family tree and help you discover more about your clan. We can assist with the tracing of your ancestry before you arrive and help bespoke an itinerary to help you walk in the footsteps of your ancestors.

Do you want to be looked after for your whole trip to Scotland? We can accommodate your whole holiday including accommodation and meals on our multi day tour packages. Our tour packages include exploring Glencoe, Skye, Loch Ness and Eilean Donan Castle in the Highlands of Scotland. We also have a fantastic William Wallace Tour which helps you understand the man that inspired one of the most successful blockbusters of all time, Braveheart.

Scottish Castle Tours

We visit some of Scotland’s greatest castles such as Stirling castle, Edinburgh Castle, Inveraray Castle, Rosslyn Castle, Bothwell Castle, Mount Stuart and Eilean Donan Castle. It is not an option to forget your camera here as some of the views at the castles are just as impressive as the buildings themselves.

Scottish Whisky Tours

You will be spoiled with us at Clyde Coast Tourism since every guest receives a complimentary dram of Single Malt whisky otherwise known as Scotch. If that isn’t enough we can include stops at some pretty awesome whisky distilleries such as Auchentoshan, Glengoyne, Glenkinchie and Glenfiddich to name a few. If you would like to sample the wonderful peaty tastes of Islay you can do so on a bespoke Multi Day tour with us. Contact us for more information.
