Terms and conditions Booking in advance is not always necessary. However we will only reserve your space if you have done so. Reservations will be confirmed on receipt of 100% of the tour price (unless otherwise stated). Bookings are only recognised if paid in full.
- 10% charge for cancellation more than 45 days before tour departure.
- 20% charge for cancellation 45 - 30 days before tour departure.
- 50% charge for cancellation 30 - 15 days before tour departure.
- For cancellation less than 15 days before tour departure any refund is at the our discretion.
Clyde Coast Tourism Ltd Cancellations:
If we cancel the tour for any reason, we offer a 100% refund on the tour OR an alternative date agreed by the customer.
Refunds can take up to 10 days to process on to the users account
Customers may also be liable for costs for cancelled accommodation.
Cruise Ship Terms and Conditions:
Should your ship not stop at a port due to weather or a change in itinerary, Clyde Coast Tourism Ltd will charge a 25% cancellation fee of the stop and will refund the 75% remainder back to the customer.
We keep to a strict schedule to ensure you are back at your ship in plenty of time. If there are any problems with roads and or traffic, items of your itinerary may be missed to compensate for the added time required. Clyde Coast Tourism Ltd cannot be held responsible should you miss your ship due to circumstances outside of our control such as road closures.
We strongly recommend that travellers arrange suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance.
Tour prices are for tour transport and tour guide only and do not include accommodation, entrance fees or meals (unless otherwise stated). The prices listed on the website are valid from 15th May 2014 until 30th April 2017.
We cannot accept responsibility for conditions which are outside our control, e.g. the weather, the closure of visitor attractions etc. We reserve the right to alter or cancel our tour itineraries where necessary due to weather conditions, road closures, etc.
Our Active Walking and Cycling Tours:
Please note that a reasonable level of fitness is required for these tours and Clyde Coast cannot assume any responsibility for health problems that may be resulted from these tours. Weather appropriate and suitable performance clothing is advisable and again we cannot take responsibility for customers who fail to dress appropriately .
Scottish Outdoor Access Code:
Since much of our tours incorporate the Scottish outdoors, we advise that you look at the Outdoor Access Code before your visit. Clyde Coast Tourism Ltd cannot be held responsible for those who do not adhere to the code.
Tour prices do not include entrance fees, hotels, meals, ferry costs (when needed - guides ferry cost to be paid also) or gratuities.
Clyde Coast Tourism (Slainte Scotland Tours) and the vehicle is insured for passenger and third party claims, as required by law. Although Due care is taken, customers' personal property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage thereto. Our guests and customers are urged to ensure they carry adequate and relevant travel, medical and cancellation insurance. This is an important part of the contract of the tour and must be in place. In the event of client illness, injury of death, then the client must accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred and CLyde Coast Tourism cam not be liable to refund any part of the tour cost.
Clyde Coast Tourism (Slainte Scotland Tours) does not accept any liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the tour cost. Any activities such as walks or visits to attractions are completely at the clients own risk. We advise to our best knowledge each tours physical, dietary and clothing requirements but we can't make decisions for you.
Clyde Coast Tourism (Slainte Scotland Tours) will use all reasonable and legal means to ensure that the tour starts on time agreed and that it reaches its destination on time. The Company will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes or circumstances beyond its control. The circumstances include weather, roads, traffic or any other unforseen circumstance or force majeure.
Cash and Card Payments in Person
