Glasgow City Tour

Book Now!

Kelvingrove Museum2015 Season: 30th April to 31st October

Glasgow was once the 2nd city of the British Empire, join us and find out why. Experience the city of diversity from our tour explaining the exuberant wealth at Kelvingrove Museum to us toasting the common folk that kept the city moving at the People’s Palace and Winter Garden. We also see the beginnings of the city at the Glasgow Cathedral where you can also see the oldest house and St Mungo’s Museum. If that wasn't enough, we give you an hour to have something to eat or enjoy the shops on Buchanan Street, an architectural delight in its own right.

Why Choose the Tour

  • Visit Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, home to Salvidor Dali's "St John of the Cross", and work from other greats such as Rembrandt, Monet and the Glasgow Boys. There are also fantastic exhibits detailing Glasgow's (and Scotland's) history with a section dedicated to none other than Charles Renee Macintosh. To set everything off is the absolutely breathtaking architecture.
  • Enjoy one of the, if not the best preserved cathedrals in the UK, Glasgow Cathedral. A medieval piece of architectural brilliance that is uniquely Scottish, you will not be disappointed.
  • Visit the oldest house in Glasgow otherwise known as the Provand's Lordship. It is probably one of the quaintest places that you will ever see and has been described by our guests as "better that Shakespeare's house".
  • Enjoy a dram of Single Malt whisky as we toast the people of Glasgow at the People's Palace and Winter Garden

Cost: £35 per adult; £15 per child; £30 per concession.
Includes transport, guides, bottled water and snacks on the bus.
