This tour is aimed at groups between 2 and 15 people and includes just about everything except extra meals and drinks outside the itinerary.

 

 

Price.

The price is £530 per adult. This price includes coach hire, meals, bed and breakfast accommodation, entrance fees, water and light refreshments on the coach. This price does not include drinks and snacks outside of the below itinerary.

Itinerary

 

Day 1

  • Pick up from starter location. Make way to the first stop
  • Stop 1. Auchentoshan Whisky Distillery
  • Stop 2. Loch Lomond for photographs
  • Stop 3. Drovers Inn at the top of Loch Lomond for an authentic Scottish lunch and pint.
  • Stop 4. Glencoe where we make our way to the hotel (4 star). We can get refreshed and visit a local bar for an authentic Scottish experience and dinner

Day 2.

  • Leave Hotel and make way to Eilean Donan Castle known as Scotland’s most beautiful Castle and where Highlander the movie was filmed.
  • Stop 2. Eat lunch in Plockton Shores Restaurant
  • Stop 3. Make way to the Brochs at Glenelg.
  • Return back to Glencoe
  • Dinner in a local eatery

Day 3.

  • Check out of Hotel for 9.30am.
  • Stop 1 Glencoe Visitor Centre. 1 hour (11am leave)
  • Stop 2 Dochart Falls at Killin where we can enjoy a rest and packed lunch. 30 mins
  • Stop 3 Stirling Castle (arrive 1.30pm) 2 hours
  • Make way to drop off at Edinburgh or Glasgow

Please note that we have not included the accommodation costs in the add on section as the cost will depend on season and availability especially in Glasgow and Edinburgh. However we can help source the best accommodation for you to suit your needs.

On all our tours we include your guided tour, bottled water, snacks and a complimentary dram of Scotch / children's activity pack.

Exclusions:

We not not include meals or entrance however we can assist in a cost effective solution for your entrance for your whole trip. If you are visiting more than one port, please let us know as you may qualify for an Explorer Pass or Scottish Heritage Pass which will save you a lot of money on admission during your stay.

  • Currency in Scotland: British Pound (£)
  • Weather: We have quite a wet and mild climate so it is always advisable to bring a rain jacket or umbrella. Suitable footwear is also advisable, nobody wants wet socks :-)
  • Temperature: Average summer temperature is 19°C / 66.2 F
  • Gratutities: It is not complusary to tip in Scotland, however if you feel that the service was deserving, the going rate is 10%. This is not set in stone either but it can assist you in what you wish to contribute.
