Over 100000 Cruise Visitors to Grace Greenock's Ocean Terminal in 2015
Written by Catriona StevensonA BUMPER YEAR.....OVER 100000 CRUISE VISITORS EXPECTED TO GRACE GREENOCK PORT
It may be cold outside in Greenock but the heat is certainly on for the local cruise terminal with a bumper year of cruise visits planned this year. The town is expecting to welcome over 100000 people which is a welcome increase to the area’s tourism profile.
This would not have been achieved without the tireless efforts by the Ocean Terminal and the Inverclyde Tourist Group who provide service with a smile (for free). I personally love the group to pieces and believe that the work they do is priceless in helping improve the area’s PR.
On another note, we at Clyde Coast Tourism are bracing ourselves for a busy year of guests and look forward to greeting the Royal Princess Cruises once more as well as the Queen Mary II who will be gracing Greenock for Cunard’s 175th anniversary celebrations cruise.
We are really looking forward to meeting all our guests this year and already have bookings in, some days are already sold out. We have a number of day tours available from Greenock port which include Glasgow, Whisky, Loch Lomond, Inveraray, local walking tours and of course we have private hire options available. Please select your ship HERE for more information.
If you are interested in coming on one of our tours, please feel free to contact me. Alternatively we have a fully functioning booking system on site to take the stress out of booking.
